This page from Kyōsai's Pictures of One Hundred Demons (Kyōsai Hyakki Gadan) depicts a throng of yōkai surging forward — a frog-faced creature, a red oni, a long-haired female spirit, and a demon raising a red parasol among them. Originally the right half of a two-page spread, it faces a companion page filled with a legion of spear-wielding skeletons.
